Oops, I almost forgot about this boulder, very close to the \u201cWalks of Life\u201d boulder! It is odd because in real life, visiting the site, I was crawling around on the outcropping and almost missed it, too!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Better late than never, so let\u2019s look!<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Very close to the \u201cWalks of Life\u201d boulder seen here in the background at the top of the outcropping, and most likely contemporary with it. The themes and style of the petroglyphs is the same. The row of four footprints even seem to be wandering off towards that boulder!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The squiggle lines and concentric circles are also pretty common themes here on the Tablelands and they are represented on this boulder. All the petroglyphs are at a comfortable height for working.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

I love the detail on the middle print, where the chubby toes are separate little ovals, much like a real footprint would show. The print right at the top was almost taken out by that chunk of the boulder breaking off.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
